For Parents

Every parent is different and sometimes expects different things from youth ministry.  But here is primarily what you can expect your teen to receive.

 LOVE.

Our primary goal is to love them.  You have put them under our care for one to two hours on a Sunday or Wednesday and we plan to love them in a variety ways.

SUNDAY SMALL GROUPS AND WORSHIP SERVICES

During our Small Groups on Sundays session, each youth will be led through a biblical based curriculum.  Your teachers are comprised of people who are mature in their Christian faith and can effectively lead a bible study group.  We will engage your teen in discussion questions, search the Bible, and show them how the Bible applies to their lives.  Our goal is to love them to Jesus, so that Jesus can change their lives.

Our Sunday morning services begin at 11 a.m. and we encourage you to attend along with your teen.  Your teen will be monitored by one of our youth volunteers.  In service, they will sing, welcome other's and hear God's word.  It is our goal during this time that God will speak to them individually and that again they are provided a better understanding of the Bible and it's life changing message.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACTIVITIES

Fun Activities

Every Wednesday we have dinner or dessert beginning at about 5:30.  Your teen may arrive and join us as we celebrate sharing a meal together.  Beginning at 6:30, we begin our Wednesday nights with fun activities!  Don't worry, your teen is being monitored by our helpful youth volunteers!

Next, we begin to dig in to the Bible and address topics that youth are wanting to know what God says.  The youth are taught by Pastor Waldo who will lead and guide your youth into understand God and ultimately discovering Jesus in their lives.

One last thing.  We are not hear to replace you in your role as parents or guardians.  We are here to nurture your child during this adolescent period.  We want to come alongside you, but ultimately we will love them to Jesus.
